History of The Maverick
The Maverick is a 2004 46 ft Markley custom finished by Mike Walters. The Maverick is powered by a 525 hp John Deere diesel which provides a fast cruise to the fishing grounds. This boat has top of the line electronics and no expense is spared when it comes to fishing tackle. Captain Andrew is committed to having the cleanest charter boat on the Bay. The Maverick has a full bathroom, heated cabin, stereo and plenty of seating to relax during your day on the Bay. Plus the Maverick is US certified to carry up to 18 passengers!
Charters
How many people can go on charters?
The Maverick is US Coast Guard certified for up to 18 passengers, and we have no minimum.
What is included?
All bait, tackle, ice for the fish, and licenses are included.
Is fish cleaning included?
Yes, Captain Andrew will clean and bag your fish at the end of your trip for you to take home and enjoy!
What should i bring?
Sunscreen, Sunglasses, clothing appropriate for weather forecast (sweatshirt or light jacket), comfortable shoes, food/snacks, beverages (alcohol is permitted), and of course a camera to capture the memories!
What form of payment can i use?
We accept cash, as well as credit card and checks.
What time does the boat leave?
Maverick Charters operates two trips a day, 7 days a week and charters are approximately 6 hrs.
May 1st -May 15th:
Morning trips depart at 5:30am
Afternoon trips depart at 12:30pm
Remainder of the Season:
Morning trips depart at 5:45am
Afternoon trips depart at 12pm
